Saige

Saige, as always, is adjusting well to the move. She is loving school and is very active. She was voted as the student council rep for her homeroom so she goes to student council meetings once a week. She was also nominated by her teachers for a committee (can't remember the name) but they plan and organize activities for the school. She has also become a member of the robotics club where they build and program robots made from legos. I don't quite get it but she enjoys going to the meetings.
When we went to sign her up for school they asked her if she wanted to take band. I told her why not, take a chance. (By the way, band is huge here in Wyoming.) Anyway, she decided to play the saxophone. As much as she loves playing it, I think she wishes she had chosen and smaller, lighter instrument as she does not enjoy lugging it to and from the bus stop.

Here are a couple of pictures from the summer. Saige's first pictures in the barley field did not turn out as she would of liked, so this is from our second try!

First day of school. She looked dang cute and was ready to take on the new adventures.

This was Saige on Crazy Day! Not a great picture but her hair was way cool! She looked great if I do say so myself.

Here is Saige in the homecoming parade. I had no idea she was going to be in it until my friend saw her walking by (hence the picture from behind). They asked students who wanted to wear pink for breast cancer awareness to walk. She volunteered but did say it was a little hot!

Saige is a great kid and loving life here. We thought we had lined up some clogging for her but it is not working out like planned. She is a little bummed about that but hopefully we can find something else for her to do.

Denali (The Diva)

Denali, Denali, Denali!!!
This kid is going to be the death of me! I know my mother does a little dance of I told you so when she sees Denali. I think she is me part 2 and as my mom said "you"ll get your just rewards when you have kids!" The only difference is that I was never the fashion diva or modeling queen. We butt heads alot but I am convinced it is because we are so similar.
She is truly a joy and keeps us hopping!

Here is a picture with her friend Lexie before we left UT. We had packed up most of the house but Sakoya's Trek clothes were still out. They put them on and had a fashion show! It was way fun! These two were a kick! Crazy thing about Lexi is that her dad grew up in Basin which is about 35 minutes from here. We are hoping to have her come visit when they make it up this way! Here is Denali's individual from the barley field pictures! Of course she is striking a pose, but looks great!

First day of school, long hard thought went into this outfit and mom had to spend the morning curling her hair! We had to look fashion model good on the first day!

This picture is from crazy hair day at school! I wish you could see the sparkle (that she made her dad buy) and how high I got it to stand off her head. She ended up being sent to the principals office because her teacher wanted her to show off how cool it looked!

She is a great kid and we love her even if sometimes she drives us crazy! She is loving 3rd grade and school and has made a really good friend named Ashley. Ashley lives just across the street and keeps Denali in line. Denali has invited and we have taken Ashley to church a couple times as well as primary activities and ward dinners!

Derringer

Derringer is such a boy and way different from the girls, I am definitely learning how to raise a boy with him. When we went to get pictures in the grain field we had a to work a smile out of him! In this one he is laughing but I like it. He has lost 5 teeth since we moved to Wyoming, corn on the cob is definitely out this summer for him.
After the pictures we went to an ice cream shop here in town! Let's just say he enjoyed his chocolate ice cream and it was a good thing we did pictures first.

This is definitely not the best picture but if you could see it you could tell that he had an allergic reaction to mosquitoes again! We went swimming at Boysen Reservoir and I didn't realize he was getting that many bites! Needless to say both eyes were pretty much swollen shut and he was miserable! He wouldn't go anywhere because he thought he would scare people. Maybe one of these days I will learn to spray him better. He doesn't have a problem with them except on his face.

He is really liking first grade but sometimes complains that it is boring. Is this because he is a boy or what, I don't really know. Hope that the next 11 years of school aren't all boring!

Wynter

Here are a couple pictures of Wynter! I love this first one cause last time we took pictures in the field she screamed because it was itchy! This time she wanted to play with it!

Here is one where your can see her face and cute smile! She is such a cute little thing! We love to have her around! She has decided that the 16 year old boy that is next door is her new boyfriend! He had to walk her to primary a couple of weeks ago! I got a great picture her holding his hand today at the volleyball game. I will have to post it when I get it loaded on the computer!

Here is an older picture of Wynter and Wyatt. She loves him, sometimes a little too much! She takes good care of him now that the big kids are in school.

Wyatt!

Just a couple pictures of Wyatt, he is such a good little dude. Denali did a photo session with him one day, thought this one was cute! He is very mobile these days and when he forgets he isn't holding onto something he will take off walking 3-4 steps. I keep saying he will be walking soon but he will definately do it when he is ready, I am in no hurry!

Due to all the craziness when Wyatt was blessed and my hospital stay, I never got formal blessing pictures taken. The girls dressed him up in his blessing outfit and did a photo session. They got a bunch of good ones, here is an example of one.

Family Snapshot

Here is a picture we took one Sunday after Church. It didn't turn out great but at least we were all together!
