Dance Pictures

So here is the deal, I went to get Sakoya from dance today and we got the envelope for dance pictures which are to take place next week. I do not find myself to be a cheap person but sometimes I feel like people are out to gouge the money out of you. The photographer, whom I know personally, thinks that $14 dollars for a group 5x7 is a reasonable price. I have always bought my kids dance pictures because I still love going to my mom's to look at my dance pictures but there is no way I can pay for anything more that just the group picture. I am going to take my camera and take pictures of my kids individually so that we can have the memory but I think his price is OUT OF CONTROL. Okay package 1 costs $30 for 1 8x10 individual 2 5x7 individuals 8 wallets and a group photo. Is this and deal or an I just to tight. I don't know but I would appreciate someone's feed back.

Derringer

Just thought I would share some Derringerisms."
"Mom, where does water come from?"
Me: Knowing that was an in depth question said,"I don't know."
Derringer, "Water comes from giraffe's and milk comes from cow."
I reply "Okay." What else an I supposed to say to that.

Derringer loves string cheese and we were out and I hadn't been to the store in quite some time but when I went I finally bought some. He had stayed home and didn't know this so when I was unpacking the groceries I told him I had bought some string cheese. His reply "FOR REAL." Sometimes (no most of the time) he amazes me.

My final funny was just the other day I was downstairs getting ready for scouts and Jeramy came down and told me Derringer had been spraying hairspray all over upstairs. When I went up I didn't see where he had done it and figured Jeramy must of cleaned it up. Not so the case I found a thick layer of hairspray on the kid bathroom counter and cleaned it up. When I asked Bubba if he had sprayed hairspray all over the bathroom he replied, "A Big Monster did it." I then said "A Monster?" and he said, " No mom I think it was a ghosty ghosty!"

Well if nothing else he is good for a few laughs.

Stuffing her Scruffy Puppy
Giving her a bath.

Denali named her Scruffy puppy Savannah. She had a really hard time trying to find the right outfut but finally ended up with a really cute red and white outfit. A girl after her mother's heart who picked out red clothes. IT was totally cute to me.

Derringer at Build a Bear

Derringer picked out the Monkey and named his Maxy. It was funny because we went to Build a Bear in December and he found the monkey and carried it all over the store until Jeramy made his put it back to which he replied, "But dad, I just love him soooo Much." I had fear that when we got there they would be all out of monkeys, thankfully that didn't happen.

The stuffing of Maxy.

A very Happy Bubba with Maxy

The final happy product. He hugged his monkey all the way home and patted his back. Makes me think I did something right as a mom today.

Build a Bear

Wynter's Wynter Bear, Saige's Addi, Bubba's Maxy, Koya's Pacey and Nali's Savannah
This is the final product.
They are warming their hearts and making wishes.

Each has their own unstuffed animal here.

This year for Christmas from mom and dad the 4 oldest kids got a card saying it was good for one trip to Build a Bear. Wynter didn't get on because she got one for Christmas last year built by her sisters and brother. They all have been wanting to have their own bear that they got to pick out and stuff, we always try to visit a Build a Bear when we are close but they none of them have ever got to make their own. Anyway, the kids have been begging to go since we got back to Utah after Christmas and on Friday the 16th they didn't have school and our other plans for the day fell through so we headed to SLC to the Gateway ( me and the 5 kids as Jeramy had to work). Needless to say it was a blast and they loved every minute of it. Iam a going to post a whole bunch of pictures so you can see.

Our new church time is now 11 and will be for the whole year. Needless to say we came back home, did a few things then went back to church again later.
