Bangs and the Cast

Here is a picture of Sakoya with her bangs and the cast she got on Tuesday. Amazingly, it is BLUE. They did have other colors but of course there was only on color for her.

I had signed her up for basketball camp and it is this weekend. She has been going, I hope she is learning from watching because she comes home saying they don't let her do much.

Derringer's 4th Birthday

Derringer's 4th birthday was on the 28th of May and I have been meaning to post the pictures. I can't believe that he is actually this old. All he wanted was a 4 wheeler with a button that opened his mouth. (After seaching I finally found this fully fuctional toy for about $350.) When I told him this was not possible we ended up with a 4 wheeler cake instead. He had a great day when all was said and done.

A BROKEN ARM!!!

On the last day of school, June 4th, Sakoya went to her friends house to play. They were riding scooters, going down and hill when things got out of control and she crashed. The result, a broken arm. ( I signed her up for basketball camp, volleyball camp and she is going to girls camp in two weeks) Here is a picture from the emergency room. She goes to the ortho on Tuesday for casting. Currently wearing a splint with a sling.

At least she broke the left one, if you look just above the wrist you can see an abnormal bump. ( Sorry to say I don't know how to rotate this picture.)

Promised Haircuts, What was I Thinking?

So here are the before pictures, Derringer had to get in the picture too.















This is Saige getting her haircut, she decided to go for 12" but by the time the girl finished it was WAY more than that.



She loves it, her mother is adjusting.




















The girl layered it, not in the plans, it does look darling though.

Sakoya had about 6" taken off with a few bangs added in there.

Just a bit of a crazy day, the girls love it, I think it will be nice for summer.

Crazy May Days

I realize it has been forever since I have blogged but it just seems that May is full of crazy days. We have dance competitions, piano recitals, dance dress rehersal and dance recital, All star graduation, Pop's party, and field trips galore. On top of that a number of birthdays. It has just been and will continue to be crazy clear to the end of the month. I personally will be relieved when May has ended. I have a ton of pictures to post but just have gotten to it yet. So stay tuned and I will put some on later this week hopefully.
Last week was a little stressful too as my Uncle Lynn and Aunt Roseann were in a head on collision. That they are alive is a miracle in itself but that they both got released from the hospital to a rehab center after only eight days is proof that they have more to do before they leave this earth. Please remember them in your prayers as they have a long way to go yet. Uncle Lynn had a total knee surgery plus some other things. Aunt Roseann is a fighter as she had (to list the highlights) a broken femur, shattered pelvis, broken ribs, broken nose, broken vertabrae plus some more that I can't remember. Unfortunately, Jeramy has been working swings the past week and I wasn't able to get up there to see them, but one of these days I am going. Just another thing to add to the crazy May days but that is life.

BYU Graduation

I was reading somewhere today and they talked about BYU Graduation this weekend and I realized that believe it or not I graduated from BYU 15 years ago this week. (I personally choose not to believe I am old enough to have graduated from college 15 years ago.) Anyway, all I have to say is that is seems as if it was just the other day and yet I think of all that has taken place in the past 15 years and can't even comprehend the changes. I was not even married or even dating Jeramy at the time. Crazy life I know!!!
To all you who read this I hope that you have as fond of memories of college as I do and to those of you yet to attend, make the best of your days in college.

Seriously, SO BLESSED

Seriously, so blessed is the name of a blog I read and I have to say that is exactly how I am feeling right about now. We headed to Burley for the Jr. Miss Competition on Wednesday night. Jeramy's niece was one of the participants and my sister Candace was the chairman. One of those events I don't like to miss. Jeramy drove down with me because his car was in the shop there getting fixed. He headed back to Utah about 5:00 on Thursday with the two little ones. I took the 3 oldest with me to the competition. It was way fun, however, Megan did not make the top ten which was way disappointing. Well, on with the story, we left Idaho about 9:30 and I was shooting to be home by midnight. I was about 15 miles north of Tremonton when there was a noise. I couldn't figure out what it was but I keep driving. Then it became and very loud noise from the back rear of the vehicle, almost like when you are driving on the rumble strips. I pulled over when there was a safe place only to hear the sound of air coming out of my right rear tire. As far as I could tell there was nothing hanging off the tire and seeing how I was in the middle of nothing I decided my best bet was to keep driving hoping to make it to Tremonton and a gas station where some one could help me. By now Koya was awake and complaining of the noise. I just told her to pray that we could make it to the exit. I talked to Jeramy at some point ( I was not going to call my mom, who worries, until I got to Tremonton, but she called me). Needless to say I made it to the Exit, I had 16PSI in my tire but it wasn't pulling to bad. Got the gas station and tried to find someone to help me. Once I got to the station, I tried calling someone to help without much luck. I had finally got a tow service on the line when a pickup pulled in to get gas and out jumped three men. I got brave and asked if they could help me change the flat to which they agreed. It was such a blessing. By this time my tire was totally flat and I was so grateful for their help. (Three Mormon men who were heading to Idaho for a weekend of fishing in Stanley, I know the Lord will bless their travels just as he blessed mine.)
If you can see here in the picture this was what was in my tire, at one point I am sure it was an S shape from a bungee cord.
So many blessings later we finally made it home about 1 am. Crazy night but when I stop to think of all that could of gone wrong but didn't and all that went right it was just a miracle.

Sakoya's Clogging Team

Here is a video of Sakoya's clogging team dancing at a competition. This is one of my favorite dances, they all did so good. Sakoya start out on the left side. There is girl in front of her that everyone call her twin, her name is Hannah.

I have video of one of Saige's numbers, unfortunately I was sitting in the wrong place and you can't see her half of the dance. The other one didn't record, most likely the camera operator who hit the wrong button.

I forgot the camera when Denali danced so I will have to record her next time she performs.
